My friend broke his hand punching a wall because he acted stupid and didn't mark where the studs are.

Eh, whatever makes you feel strongest.

I feel like I'm out of my depression.

You know what made me teh strongest? During Phys Ed we had self defense, and I have tons of experience in that.
My partner Q (or, how I call him, "eleven") didn't even want to hit me anymore because I simply outclassed him. :D

Finished up my seven-month illustrated suggestion quest late last night. Was very happy about the story wrapped up/played out as a whole, and that I've got some free time now, but mostly I'm just really happy that I actually managed to complete a long-term project that I started, and I didn't once compromise how much effort I put in in order to make things easier or speed things up. It's only maybe the second time I've managed to do that without losing interest and starting working on something else partway through.

Feels pretty good.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Ever since watching episode 14 of Scooby Doo I've found out I love old cartoons with horrible voice actors and animation.
It's awesome.

Nothing like a convention of 1960's "Four Kids and their Talking Mascot who solve mysteries" cartoons to make you appreciate just how wonderfully awful and unimaginative animation was, and has always been.  C'mon Toony, tell them about Jabberjaw, that lovable ripoff of Curly Joe and Rodney Dangerfield.

This would be an awesome pitch for a new Adult Swim cartoon.
