Picked up Iji, and man I had forgotten how chaotic and fun that game can get. I'm not very far in, and I'm having a blast already.

For once I had a good night's sleep, 11+ hours, and I woke up feeling completely refreshed. I should do that more often.

Hell yes. And it airing on the Science channel ought to up the ratings via TV a bit more to further convince it to happen, other than being stuck on a obscure independent film channel.

Had a pretty cool lucid dream last night.  After it was over I had a false awakening and like most of my false awakenings something scary happened.  I was lying in bed thinking about the dream when something climbed up into my bed.  At first I thought it was a dog or something (even though I don't have a dog) I could feel it moving up the bed toward me.  Finally whatever it was grabbed the back of my neck and started whispering something in my ear, so naturally I freaked the hell out and started trying to wake myself up.

I eventually did, and had another false awakening, this one with no idea I might be dreaming.

Wow. I finally got ADOM to work, and it is awesome. I walked into that little village, talked to people. Got a quest to retrieve a dog from a nearby dungeon. Walked to the dungeon, entered without incident. Dispatched a bat, killed an orc. Found a locked door, kicked it in, and Wow. Pit vipers pouring out of a pit (hurr hurr :I), spears flying everywhere, acid pouring from the ceiling and killing pit vipers, teleportation traps throwing pit vipers everywhere, and bats. I kill a pit viper, level up, kill a pit viper, level up, and I love this game.

Damn, I wish I could lucid dream (or at least remember my normal dreams). Although that second part doesn't sound that great :P

It's going to happen eventually. Unless the topic is locked right beforehand, I guess.

Anyway, I'm happy because tomorrow I'm going on the most exciting-sounding run of my life. Ten miles straight up a frozen peak and back, plus a small picnic at the top. I might get pictures.

It didn't happen before when we reached 20k or 30k, so I wouldn't be too worried.
