I don't have any school tomorrow or the Monday next week.  Besides that I'll be in shop for longer than 4 days finally.

Indeed. Being sick always gives you the time to do things you wouldn't have time for otherwise.
Of course only if you're not too sick...

Ja, I am reading Name of the Rose and sitting around with the pure joy that is doing Russian grammatical exercises that will not be due for another two weeks.

... My life is so exciting.

Thanks, though.

Hey, at least you do stuff.

I just laze around at home waiting for my study packets.

It's... dull.

I'm waiting for this stupid compulsory civilian service to end, so I can do something meaningful again.
Working 48 hours a week is dull.

Don't get your hopes up.

(Sorry for being blunt.  I become dickish when I am sick)
It's cool. As I said, I'm only applying because they said I could do it for free. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take, right?

That aside, get well soon!

Also: not directly caused by what you said, but rather by a series of such events, I'm starting to get tired of people saying that they're sorry for being direct, blunt, practical, and other such things. Seriously. I appreciate the directness.

Da, go for it.  I went for it, you go for it!

Though I hope you come here, because we are better.  I dunno if you've visited Harvard, but I hate the atmosphere.  Been twice, really hated it both times.  If you want that-level Ivy-League, do Princeton.  I consider it far superior.

Also roger roger on the bluntness.  Will speak as I like, then.  Thanks for getting-welling-messaging.

... Yeah, I'm sicker than I thought.  Whoopie-dip.

Aye, the atmosphere is what's driving me to look more closely at west coast schools like UW, Stanford, and Berkeley. The Ivy League is really far away, and I can't imagine living in fancy-shmancy-land after spending 17 years in a town where there are more deer than bicycles. If I go to a school over there, it'll likely be Dartmouth. It's the smallest of the schools, with a population only slightly higher than the city I live in. New Hampshire's not a bad place either, I've heard. It also helps that a few friends of mine might be going there. I don't really know yet... I have yet to visit any colleges except the one I'm enrolled at.

... Yeah, I'm sicker than I thought.  Whoopie-dip.
Hopefully it'll pass quickly, like a cloudburst of disease. To a point, I always prefer getting a sickness over with as soon as possible. Coughing and snuffling for two weeks is far worse than a fever for two days.

Ja, I am reading Name of the Rose. . .
... My life is so exciting.

You bet it is!
I wish I were smart enough to read that book. :\

Admission: I haven't even read A Theory of Semiotics. *crowd hisses* Eco intimidates me.
