So I just burned an Arch Linux disk with my old mac.
Here's hoping it'll work. *raises glass*

Awesome coincidence.

Happy: just tried my wireless mouse on Arch. Didn't have to do a thing to make it work. I thoroughly expected to have to make at least a small tweak somewhere.

So who all has Cropped Porn avatars?

Jack_Bread is the only one I know of currently. And unfortunately I also recognize the artists and let me tell you tame is that last thing they draw.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Due to my annoying computer, I had to get on the forums via google.

Then I saw the most awesome thing ever: Aqizzar, in his epicness, is actually part of the first link. He is surely being recognized by Google!

Edit: Curses! I misspelled his name! Curse me for not actually reading my post over!

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
