So they have 595,468 fanatical soldiers willing to fight for every inch of ground. And quite probably more afraid of the penalty for running than they are of death.

I mean, I'm not worried that, if worst comes to worst, we'll lose. Because I'm pretty confident everyone will get involved. I'm worried that if the shit does hit the fan it'll be a bloodbath, especially since they have nuclear weapons.

See, North Korea would lose against any of their main enemies without a shadow of a doubt but....well, best case scenario Seoul gets blown to hell by North Korean airstikes and artillery, and worst case the whole Korean Peninsula, Japan, Southern China, and Hawii get nuked into dust.

I'm not sure what would happen. I'm not a tactician or anything. I just know that half a million fanatical soldiers with large guns and the willingness to use them isn't good no matter how you slice it.

I'm happy today because I ran a 5k in 19:15, though it was on a muddy and mountainous course. Also, we won.

You can't just randomly ascribe intent to people like that.  In any case, China and North Korea have had talks, which is more than can be said for any other country and NK.
