Incidentally, Armok has definitely been acting better recently.  Anyone else noticed?
*I* didn't! :O
I must have learnt something and then forgotten that I didn't always know it. What exactly am I doing right?

(Repost because I really want a resonse.)
You're being more sensible, and less abrasive. Good job, Luke. The Force is strong within you, etc.
That don't tell me anything usefull!

Well, I'll tell you something I've noticed in myself not-too-recently. Before I hit post, I always look at my post and say "Do I really need to post this? Does it actually contribute anything to this conversation? Does anyone really care about any of this?". About half of the time, the answer is "No" and I hit the back button. You might have started doing the same thing and not noticed.

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

From the small sample size I've seen, it seems that your outlook has brightened a smidge. Your spelling and grammar have improved markedly over the past couple weeks, and I've not seen any trolling. (Note: I've really not looked for it.)

All in all, keep up the good work. *brofist*

You must have missed this a few pages back.

Most of the posts that I've seen from you recently are more of a lighthearted, friendly tone than previously. Less srs bsns.

... that might be a side effect from diminished respect and expectation for the forums maturity more than anything. I only post for silly memes and local entertainment because I know these forums will never produce any insight or useful advice on anything that matters. :(

I think they're pretty good at discussing human relations problems, myself... but you know, man, if you want to find a bunch of people with PhDs to talk to, this is probably not the right place to go about it.  Expectations need to sync up to objective reality if you want to get anywhere.

Oh nothing below solving world hunger would count as something that matters to you man. This is an internet forum, I don't think we can go beyond discussions here. Not to mention we are not professors or scientists who have studied their fields for years discussing them. We are 12-25 year olds who come here because we have some basic amount of respect for eachother, and a lot of us share similar interests. On a personal level this is a very nifty place.

I should, but I don't fall too far out of that range.

But how can a number range also be an average?
