I have yet to play that game. I remember reading in some old gamepro magazines or something about the game, and I thought it looked cool as well.

I wanna try it out now.

Played a skirmish or three, and then realised that not only have I failed to patch it, but I don't have either of the two expansion packs. Which means I'll have to download them, which will ruin the point of having a hard copy of the original game... These Things MATTER!


But, I also found another few gems in that box. Including Mechwarrior 2.

Tatl was an improvement atleast. The constant ringing was marginally more bearable than the constant

Ah, nostalgic game discussion makes me happy. Navi... not so much. The sidekicks have been improved in every game since though. Minda hardly ever bugs link outside of cutscenes.

 There is something else to it: The sidekicks have become increasingly hostile to Link. Navi in the first game was fully supportive, if not a little eager. Tatl had no hope in him, speaking down about him. Then Minda come along as was very hostile towards Link.

 The next Zelda game will have your sidekick actively try to kill you.

There is something else to it: The sidekicks have become increasingly hostile to Link. Navi in the first game was fully supportive, if not a little eager. Tatl had no hope in him, speaking down about him. Then Minda come along as was very hostile towards Link.

 The next Zelda game will have your sidekick actively try to kill you.

Minda wasn't hostile... just teases him a bit too much, I think link's wolf form actually wants to kill her at several points in the game.

But she WAS pretty hostile. I mean, i can't say more without Spoiling the game, but, she was.

For what it's worth, Linebeck from phantom hourglass wasn't hostile, just useless.

You know, though, link should totally team up (willingly or otherwise) with Ganondorf.

Makes about as much sense as ninjas riding raptors, but it's just as awesome.

Finally made a decent origami crane!  Looks pretty good, although the fact that I made it out of tissue paper means its wings are hopelessly limp.  Ah well, a disabled crane then.
