There will always be room in my heart for Goldeneye nostalgia. Except for Oddjob.

I always got so much shit because of Oddjob. Hell, that was my nickname for about two years after Goldeneye was released. Of course, I wasn't alive in the 60s, but my dad had the same problem.

Holy crap, why did I not start watching One Punch Man earlier? This is the best thing.
probably figured an autobiography wouldn't be interesting

Funny thing. If you weren't intent on trying to manual aim at oddjob. He was actually easier to kill than the other characters.

My cousin and I loved to play the Archive map, or something that had these walkways around big square rooms.  He knew the (ridiculously hard) crouch command, and would run around as crouched Oddjob while I lobbed grenades at him.  It was great, when he wasn't being a total cheese and blockading me into rooms with mines.

Going to Churchill Downs tomorrow (well, today, technically). As a bonus, seeing a bunch of family there and picking up more handicapping tips from my mother.  :D

Was Goldeneye the one where you had the wristwatch grappling hook? Cause I remember playing SOME SORT OF James Bond game 1v1 with my friend and I'd be grappling around the map while he tried rocket launchering me into giblets.

Yeah, I believe so. The watch also had a stungun and some sort of laser, IIRC. Really regretting selling my N64 and carts, now that I'm getting hit with nostalgia. I could go for another playthrough of Starfox 64 and Kirby: Crystal Shards as well.

I loved how in Kirby 64 you could combine powers, so you could make electric swords and fireworks that killed stuff.

Oh yeah, among the various things that got overshadowed last night, I saw Persepolis. It's seriously really good.

Did a crapload of work this week. Browned-out for a fair while taking my nap. Feeling like a million bucks. I also have the next 3 days off for Memorial Day weekend as well.

Also helps that the beach is awesome and swimmable again; and to make things better for the weekend I also came across an awesome BOGO sale of a really good iced tea (2.50 for 2 gallons).

Looking at earlier: I would have to admit, these are my favorite forums for these very same reasons. I've been such an outsider everywhere I go, Internet or real life, and this place is probably one of the few places I actually feel accepted as myself.
