If someone who actually cares about what avatar someone has comes in and reads this, maybe, maybe they'll see the errors of their ways. Who says peer pressure's all bad?

I've been thinking I should get an avatar for a while, but wanted a unique one, but didn't have time to make one yet, so now I'm using one stolen from another forum.

Yeah, that's the problem. But it sure makes your posts a lot easier to recognize which makes conversations easier to follow. I started using one when I realized that I accidentally read someone else's post as my own and that I was constantly getting scriver and Starver mixed up (even though they have two very different posting styles).

I used to have that problem. Then I got over it.

Now that you mention it I might actually have to think about this. Clarity is one thing I hold in high regard. I used to have a Starfury avatar. It was cool.

I used to use an avatar stolen from a sex offender registry (creepiest guy I could find) on the penny-arcade forums.

It was awesome, 'cause it made many people subconsciously hate me, and when I changed it, people stopped hating me.

I felt odd about not having an avatar, so i made a battle in the arena and screenshoted the result... was fun to watch one of every creature from MasterworkDF go at it.
