Pft. It's no fun that way.

But it's a better option that whatever Tack assumed I was on about. Which I suspect is nothing good.

Also, you- OH MY GOD IT'S POSSIBLY MAYBE GOING TO BE OUT BY THE END OF NEXT MONTH.
Wait that's silly.

Oh well.

I suddenly want to read very badly for the first time in 6 years or so (thank you very much, English and French departments.  I think you single-handedly destroyed my desire to read and write, and I'm now only recovering since I'm mostly mathing all day).  Sure, there's been isolated forays into novels from time to time in years past--Catch 22, House of Leaves, East of Eden, whatever... but this time, I really want to just go devour a shelf of books whole like I used to.

Hmph.  Schedule now includes reading-time, not just internet-time and math-time.  It should also probably be altered to incorporate going outside-time... >_>

Ah, I have a hard time processing auditory information.  There's a reason why I almost never go to lecture--I can't understand and hear simultaneously.  My mind is not a happy multitasker.

I DL'd the whole Dnd 4e rulebook set from *censored* and I'm gonna try DMing a game with my bro. I had good times playing as a Tiefling rogue, and I hope I can be as awesome as my cool DM.

Ha!  Thank you for getting me back into reading.  Much appreciated.

Heh, I remember the first time I played D&D.  I was a Tiefling fighter and took the whole "demon lineage" thing far too seriously.  Had my character cut off a couple mooks' heads and swap 'em.

... I was rather disturbed as a young child, as I'm certain you can tell.  I couldn't understand why everyone was so disgusted.

Yeah, that's an unfortunate rule of all DnD and DnD based games. In absolutely everything you do, every choice you make - it'd always be more entertaining if you were Chaotic Evil...

My DM was so cool. He got me killed because a Giant Eagle picked me up and dropped me on some bald philosopher dude, killing us both. I can't believe he knew about Aeschylus!

And then I remembered he killed me. Darn him  ;D

I had a Minatour(sp) Barbarian, named Spiffy who while surrounded  by goblins pick one up, bite of his head in front of all the other goblins then, used used the still warm corpse as an improvised club as I sucked on the skull like a jaw breaker, occisionally showing it the goblins.

Needless to say, I won.
