Oh, man, Recettear. I was just thinking about that game a little while ago; I kinda forgot about it, and haven't finished it.

Cutest main characters ever.

If you're interested in Atelier, maybe give Mana Khemia a try? I'm pretty sure it's a spinoff.

That's another game I need to go back and finish, actually. I'm so fortunate to have all this awesome unfinished stuff on my shelves! ^_^

Anyway, yeah, MK also isn't as charming as Recettear. Then again, I can't think of anything off the top of my head that is.

Tomorrow I am dedicating myself to playing at least 10 minutes of each those games I got with cheap bundles but never actually touched. Steam has a tendency to do that to me. Maybe I'll get lucky an one will really appeal to me like Shadowgrounds did.

I kinda wish I had a good enough background for an (un)wanted harem trope to occur. Unfortunately, I've been stuck in the hopeless category for a good portion of my life to the point of no longer giving a crap.

In other news, there's this really bizarre drug-trip of a show on [adult swim] right now called 'Off the Air' (about 4 episodes airing). Fortunately, I've seen stranger. I can imagine that this is usually what happens when someone's mind shorts out on a good or bad trip; depending on taste. I think I would handle it well. Even nightmare portions/bad trips.

My cross country team ranked 2nd in the state of Washington. We were seeded 5th, so it was better than expected. My passing of one person 20 meters from the end was why we didn't get 3rd instead. It was a PR for me on that course. Now I get to focus on training for track, and from there I will either be done with running sports or trying to qualify for a college team, depending on how hard I can push myself.

I now have anecdotal proof that technology is not completely logical and emotionless!


Just had to restore my laptop to factory settings. It did so, and shut down. I turned it on, and bluescreen'd before it had gotten to the welcome screen. I was annoyed, and restarted it. Again, the same thing happened.

I got my father, a computer whiz. He turned it on, it loaded up, went to the welcome screen, and was all hunky dory.

Didn't press a key. In fact, I was the one who pressed the button. By sheer fact of him being there, he made it work.

Things just work for people who are good with computers... I'm surprised they aren't rounding up programmers and burning us in witch trials. It doesn't need to make sense, it just is.

My theory is that it isn't that computers work for people who are good with them, but rather people blessed by the god of RNG are naturally drawn to computers, and tend to become good at them. Cause and effect here people.

Or, all people who are good with computers emit an aura that calms and soothes a computer. Causing them to be more friendly to those people. Other people (like me) emit an odd aura which agitates computers and eventually causes them to frenzy.
