Today, the japanese obsession with turning everything into cute girls taught me about the Kamehameha Dynasty.

That has got to be one of the greatest surnames that I know of.

I once played an Exalted game where my character was based on King Kamehameha. Dude was totally hardcore.

(The original King, not so much my homage. Though the latter was fine, too.)

I... I should probably clean my kitchen before the mold starts developing language skills.

That would probably be for the best.

Things that made me happy today:

-I really love drawing. This is probably obvious by how most of my recent post history contains a lot of drawings. I don't even care for the final picture, or publishing it, or competing with other artists. I just love the act of drawing itself. That's why I can be so bad but have so much fun with it.
-Bay 12 has overall positively improved my life in one way, but you don't get to find out what that is.
-My sleep schedule is on track for once.
-I made money.

SO I've found that I like Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. I like it a whole lot.

Maybe too much, after blowing my entire saturday on it.

I've already beaten the game, and now taking the time in Endless Mode to actually explore the little story bits and go dungeon-diving, something that the time limits placed on you in the main game simply make far too difficult to do while also avoiding getting jettisoned into homelessness.

I did beat it in my first try though, I actually had to look up what the game over screen looked like. I thought Recette was going to get sold into slavery when the sale of her dinky house failed to pay off her ginormous debt.

After crushing Recettear, I moved on in a horrible void of commercial-game-less-ness. I've since found the Atelier series. So happy ^_^
