For that last one, I couldn't get the phrase, "CHILDREN'S CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES" out of my head and so that is why I drew a guy on a bike. I was actually planning on drawing the cards so that they looked like the backs of Duel Monster cards.

Ended my RTD. Now I can go to the forums without worrying about people noticing I'm too lazy to update.

Holy cow, the Dave Matthews episode of Space Ghost: Coast to Coast on Adult Swim.  Man, I loved this show, and I still forgot just how much I loved it.  Definitely a concept before its time, I have to think someone has pitched reviving it.

What the hell kind of guitar is this man playing?

Spoiler: wtf? (click to show/hide)

It's like a hollow-body classical-electric. That's crazy and I want one.

It's called a thin body.
I have one, but it's matte black.
Mine also has a less classical design, with a standard head and a pickguard.
Spoiler: Something like this. (click to show/hide)
Of course, mine isn't a Martin and that one has no pickguard.

Huh.

And that must be his preamp colored to match the side. I thought it looked like he had nylon strings.

I wonder how it sounds without all those effects.

It actually sounds pretty good.
Something about the smaller cavity makes for a lighter, brighter tone, even with steel strings.
But don't take my word for it, mine sounds like crap because the neck broke and never truly got fixed, so the strings are about an inch off the fretboard at the base of the neck (fret 21), thus, I haven't tuned it because of how hard it is to play.

Hmm. I still want one. I bet it brings out the chime in nylon strings. His tone has some real bite to it.

Yeah, that's pretty much unplayable, especially with a steel string. The neck's bent?

Yeah.
Wood's damaged from all sorts of stuff.
It's a hand-me-down that has some nice history though.

That's a shame, but at least it's worth getting a new neck for it eventually. It's always sad to see a good guitar go.

This is why I love this game

Janet, you would probably love Phantasy Star IV, if just for how Alys manages to repeatedly extort thousands of Meseta out of a wimpy university student.
