4chan is running out of money...


I don't know if that's good or bad.

On one hand, 4chan isn't entirely a shithole.

On another hand, 4chan is kind of a shithole.

On a third, mutant hand, the people who used to frequent 4chan for their shitholiness will frequent other areas of the internet. It's like a quarantine facility breaking down.

Plus there's always Onionchan (not to be confused with Onionsan), but it leans a bit more on the legally dubious side.

Running out of money is 4chan's natural state. The only real potential issue if Hiro shuts down boards to deal with it and some /pol/ user goes nuts in response if they get hit.

4chan is horrible, but at least it stands as opposition to worse sites like Tumblr.
It's like the yin to the yin, or something. >.>   

I have a friend (although I haven't seem them in a while due to moving away) who uses 4chan, some of the bizarre things that go on in there make for amusing stories, at least. This is a filler sentence so that the formatting of this post doesn't look too awful.


Oh, by the way, cats are cute. So are dogs, but I'm spending a lot more time with a lot more cats at the moment.
