It's really hard to feel bad after watching one of your favorite movies (Fight Club, don't worry, I know Tyler's not to be emulated), doing something you needed to do and enjoy doing (Writing a new post for your suggestion game you had to put on hold), and listening to an undiscovered album by an artist you love (Andromeda Heights by Prefab Sprout). I also did such a good job hovering the hall of my house, which is always dusty due to animals, that my dad remarked on how fresh it smelled.

I've been feeling bad recently, but you know what? I feel great today.

I just got certified to breathe nitrox for scuba diving, which means I can stay underwater longer.

And go deeper to right? I really need to go diving again.

No. Nitrox has more oxygen and less nitrogen than regular air, so it reduces nitrogen buildup in the body. That lets you dive longer without getting the bends. Nitrogen and oxygen both become toxic when under enough pressure, so you need to add helium to the mix to go deeper. That's called trimix. Problem is, you can't breath trimix near the surface, it doesn't have enough oxygen. So it has its own course and certification (that I will probably do eventually).

Tldr: Nitrox only lets you dive longer. You need fancier stuff to go deeper.

So do you have to carry two tanks then and swap your mask or gas tube or something halfway?

Decided on a whim to look around and see if I can find any old maps for Unreal Tournament to play later tonight. In the process, I found the wiki page for Unreal Tournament 4, and it's still a free release upon completion; which is pretty cool. Just as well, on a similar note, I found classic UT99 - UT2k4 maps remade for Unreal Tournament 3, and I like the results. Downloading the whole map pack right now (pretty large file, a good 1.35 gigs in size; worth every byte).

Seems a layer shy (then again, that spawnpoint was a bit of a deathtrap anyhow), but still looks like a blast to play through. Didn't expect it to be Necris in design, though.

Yep. Only for trimix, not nitrox.

Pff... so silly... all you need is a really long snorkel!

And a pump. I've seen people diving that way.

While browsing the internet I found a spider hanging from a thread in front of my face. Dude was just going down to wherever a spider would want to go that's lower than their current position. Rather than have him crawl on my desk I caught the thread in my hand and swung him around and down to the floor to let him scurry away.

Neat little spider. Keep doing your spider things, spiderbro. Kill the shit out of those bugs.
