Just watched Dr Horrible for the first time.

There's a book series about a guy (Private Detective?) who fights magical things, and it was mentioned on the board a few months ago.

I wasn't drunk myself. I am a teetotaller by choice. This gets me to be Designated whatever, and I'll probably be driving everyones passed out asses around in a couple of years.

Protip: It's better not to have to drive them around. In fact, if you're a teenager right now, and all your friends are getting drunk, I'd actually suggest it. Social drinking will be important for making connections when you get to university (I know the people here are like Russians and get all offended if you don't turn down a drink, but they're also alcoholic engineers, so maybe it's different elsewhere), and you don't want to wait til then to develop a tolerance for it.
Issue is, is that at that young age, your liver can fail extremely quickly.  I know someone who had that happen to them.

www.doctorwho-episodes.com
I finally decided I would begin watching Dr. Who, since I have heard so much about it but watched only about 1 full episode before. Wanting to do it right, I found that site and started at the very beginning; the 1960's episodes! So far I'm on season 1 episode 4, the Marco Polo episode! Although this one is just audio with occasional images, since according to the comments at the bottom BBC destroyed the footage to make room in storage. Curse those inefficient technologies and their horrid data storage capacities...

I just wish I had watched these earlier!

Edit: As a small warning to any who wish to go to that site, the ads seems to be coded badly, so page refreshing is needed quite often due to bad loading.

Holy crap Doctor Horrible was awesome.

The summer it came out, I watched it at least once a day for the first month, and pretty frequently for a while after that, too. And played the soundtrack nonstop in my car for like a year. Amazingly enough, it never got any less enjoyable for me.

Just played some Roller Coaster Tycoon 1, and beat the first vanilla map.

The game actually works without a hitch. I forgot how fun it was. I might try to replicate an old monstrosity as well as the Quacking Caldera bug.

Oh, and I also have Memorial Day off. YAY!
