Zombie Mod?

Would it be possible to setup a mod so that zombies begin sieging the fortress after the first year or two? Preferrably LOTS and LOTS of zombies that are relatively easy to slay but relentless in their approach. I think this would make for a fun scenario, but I don't know enough about modding to make it happen.

I wouldn't know how to go about modding them in exactly but if you wanted zombie hordes you could make them a separate race that has an insanely high birth rate and aggressiveness [kind of like supercharged goblins] but make them weak, slow, and unable to use weapons. And very rarely using armor.

Theoretically when they siege they should come in droves, right?

I suppose 64 invaders (4x16) is the maximum, not that dangerous when you have 30 crossbow users.
In my DF, zombie forest hens and zombie skunks bother my woodcutters.

You could also make a zombie creature, and rather than attach it to a civ, make it spawn anywhere in the world and in very large cluster numbers, like that murloc mod.

There is the zombie mod.  Zombies will attack in swarms of about 30 as early  as your first winter

warning: the zombies in deons fallout mod have been known to attack with steel chainsaws in the first winter.
I definately didnt see it coming.
