Using both my masterful knowledge of healing and my knowledge of runecrafting, I attempt to devise a rune while will revive me if I die.
5: Deciding that a simple healing rune would be a waste on such a valuable object, you begin to carve a complex array of runes into the surface of the crystal. You link runes of healing, energy, finesse, flames, and agility together, one rune on each face of the crystal. As you finish the complex array of symbols, the runes glow with a crimson light and the crystal changes from a misty gray color to a brilliant vermilion. You can almost see a tiny, flickering flame inside the crystal. Picking it up, it no longer feels cool; rather, a comfortable warmth spreads throughout your body.
