There is a thrilling game going on between me and DJ at the moment which will continue as soon as Akigakak checks his messages and lets us back in  :-\

EDIT: Thanks Akigakak, we'll be more careful next time ;D

I made a simpler army, my third list which I will probably test out some time soon.

With three monstrous creatures in a 500 point army it should be fun  ;)

Anyone up for a 500 point game against this army and maybe some help tutorialling me my way through it?

Well, 3 vanished halfway through my first turn... I saved that game to pick up later. Anyone else feel like playing a 1000 point game?

Edit: just lost the connection, and it won't let me reconnect. Saved the game though...

Yeah. Well, it couldn't have happened at a better time, because I'd have to bail just about now. I saved it though, so we can pick it up some other time.

If you're running at any time other than during a WAAAGH, you're doin it rong.

18" Assault 2 weapons on Ork Boyz are awesome.

They are ballbustingly awesome. Utter hail of bullets, followed by an assault?

Christ yes.

They beat the pants off sluggas and choppas, that's for sure.

Except possibly against Nids.

Unless you're looking for very fast attack (thanks again Aqizzar). If you're in combat within two turns, what you want is

a) 2 attacks per Ork
b) Furious charge
c) dual weapons

30 attacks*, times 4 for the first assault, with a +1 to initiative and strength. You do the math.

*Admittedly unlikely that you'll get them all into combat in the initial assault.
