APPRECIATE! APPREEEECIAAAAATEEEE!

 ;)

Thank you! Now I can go to bed and dream of ponies with plungers for horns... or something. Actually I'd rather not dream of that, but since when has that stopped my brain.

Pony Daleks wouldn't look any different; just a different sort of shriveled body inside the same sort of shell.

Also, I love how the image spawned all this without a single comment on my actual wallpaper.  :P

Well the emphasis is on desktop ponies in the picture, not a actual desktop. It's a great program for pranking friends and family, you know.

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.

haha I should put it on my work computer.

I'd get fired so fast. Or more likely, get a ton of awkward looks as it's a family business.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

While I'm not against Bronyism, seeing Doctor Who defiled like that makes me sad...
Just what are you implying?

My desktop, into which I poured all of my love and tons of my time (Seriously, finding the background was the easy part, its finding matching icons that took way too long):

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also, fuck yeah minimalist icon use. I can't stand a single icon more. Ever.

Also also, I went and did a registry edit just to remove the ugly little arrows that normally appear on the corner of shortcuts. Yes, I'm OCD when it comes to stuff like that on my desktop.

Fancy schmancy!

Of course, that's why my desktop is barren of any icon whatsoever. Sure, it takes me like five clicks to get to anything, but I feel like I really earned it.

Or you could just horribly abuse your taskbar and start menu.

Or look up how to set up hotkeys to launch often-used apps. IIRC it's a bit strange, but not too difficult on windows

I recently dumped all of the stuff I barely use in a folder. Looks better, but could still use some facelifts...

Or use one of the auto-hiding docks like Rocketdock, or Emerge Desktop with just the EmergeWorkspace applet running, so you can get to everything from the right-click menu on your desktop.

I cannot tolerate icons on my desktop at all.

I used to have a Rainmeter news text-feed on there, but I found it to be too distracting; couldn't work properly with it there.
