Yes. Honestly, alcohol is just... Euch. It's about as enticing as the Bacon and Cheese Stuffed Pizza Burger/Cake.

Huh. See, I've been sort of indoctrinated to not worry about that. I quite like the taste of beer, because I'm level headed enough not to binge drink (another thing that scares the pants off of me: getting drunk). But drugs? My brain just won't let me. They have the same effect on me alcohol has on you. And marijuana is safer than most alcohol. Just goes to show.

As for cancer sticks, if something has rocket fuel and rat poison as active ingredients, I'm not touching it with a ten foot pole.

Ok, though, I have a joint maybe twice a year. And I do it because it helps me to relax, not because other people do it. Hell, I had the opportunity at 10 freakin' years old, but I didn't want to give into peer pressure.

And is it legal if you are underage drinking if parents are supervising? Because my acquaintance thinks so but I am pretty sure he is wrong.

Is this the USA? I have no idea what your laws on drinkin are, except that the age you can is 21. So sonerohi's probably right.

The minimum drinking age here is 18, just for the record.

Yeah. I live in the South. I am not your stereotypical southerner. I am pale, very smart, not athletic, and dont want a truck.

Here in England the legal age drinking at home is IIRC 5, of course that's for drinking alcohol not getting hammered. I'm fairly sure your parents would get in serious trouble if they let you get hammered at home. The legal age for having something like wine/beer/cider with a meal is very young. I cant remember exactly how old but I'm fairly sure it's somewhere around the teens mark. And of course for just going out and drinking the age is 18.

It's not too different in most places.

They don't really care if you're drinking a bit at home at any age. You just can't buy them as a minor.
