Yeah, they incorporate so many different themes and concepts into their songs. The great thing is that they aren't just random gibberish crap: look at Flo Rida's songs, they all sing about 'laying chicks' and 'how high you can jump'. Seriously. Don't get me started on BEP's song 'I got a feeling'.

Then compare that with Muse's songs:

Soldier's Poem, a song written from the perspective of a soldier who cannot find a reason for why he is repeatedly risking his life.

Lyrics:

Proper progressive?
It's called progressive for a reason, besides, MUSE isn't for everyone, but it is for a lot of people. Seriously, if you watch the HAARP DVD you see soooo many different people from so many different echelons of society. I saw young people, kids 'round my age, old whitehaired grandpas and grannys, I saw some punks, I saw a few 'hardcore' looking rockers.

Besides, I don't only listen to MUSE, I listen to so many different artists/bands/whatever:
MUSE, Linkin Park, KoRn, Green Day, BEP, Calvin Harris, Lily Allen, Katy Perry, Herma GaGa, Tchaikovsky, Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, Dream Theater, BBS, X Japan, L'Arc En'Ciel, The Tornadoes, Lonely Island, Eminem, Led Zepplin, Smashproof, Gin, Elvis, Mozart, etc. etc. etc.
Hell, I like any and every band/artist/composer: just as long they are actually making music.
