What the hell? I never noticed anything like this.

EDIT: Someone should probably ask about this for the podcast.

I seem to recall that the ginormous pyramid Sappho built way back when developed a few tiles of moss over it's decades of construction.  Have to find that thread again...

If only moss was part of the raws. Then we could make other things that would affect constructions and whatnot. Like ivy. And some made up stuff.

You can find moss on ancient ruins a lot of the time.

I didn't think of that, but yes, it would be cool if that molecules of your constructions built up enough energy that they melted. Lots of fun. Hilarity ensues.

Moss has been in for a long, long time but it takes so long to grow in game that people don't ever really see it

Yeah, most fortresses don't last for 20-40 years, so most don't ever see moss.

For anyone interested in how moss looks here is some I put on top of an obsidian building using tweak. I'm also 'k'ed over a mossy tile.

Indeed, you need to wait a good decade or two before moss shows up. And then you need constructions for it be made on. I have not tested destroying it, as I was tying to cultivate it on a castle I wanted ruined.

But yes, you need a very old fortress. And even then you won't see carpets of the stuff. Just occasional random tiles of the stuff.

Wow... I've never noticed that... Then again my fortresses usually don't last more than two years.
