So, in fact, her mother is not ironically indulgent, she actually just spoils Rose?

That's the impression I got.  They do live in that crazy Frank Lloyd Wright after all.  Remember that nothing is ever exactly what it seems, and the whole super-meta "everything is always as ironic as possible, to the point of wrapping back around to being not ironic" aspect Rose and Dave have going on.

I just bothered to get a program interacting with FMOD.

Now, guess what the test music was?

A .ogg of the epic MSPA update, recorded through audacity.

The program? Console-based, loops the song until any key is pressed(with the console in focus).
This beats plaaying it in windows media player for three reasons:
  • I assume it is less processor-intensive
  • WMP has an occasional fail;ure to loop that requires a stop/start cycle
  • I made it, not microsoft :)

Did anyone notice that that frog temple is actually older then the dinosaurs? I mean, that is really weird, and it makes me think: what the hell is the true form of that game, and who exactly developed it?

Seer of Light - GardenGnostic (Earth)
Witch of Space - Rose (Water)
Heir of Breath - John (Wind)
Knight of Time - Dave (Fire)
Plus:
John lives in the suburbs where it's windy: Wind
Dave lives in an apartment block with raining fire: Fire
Rose lives in a mansion with lots of rain: Water
So GardenGnostic lives on a farm or on a mountain or something? The brief glimpse we got of her (during the psyche thing) was in a greenhouse.

Edit: Whoah, there was a new update while I was typing or some time before that I didn't notice. GG is definitely in a greenhouse. It's a shame that not all of their names are four lettered though.

AKA Jade Harley.  Only marginally more respectable, if you ask me.

I wonder how her precognition will feature into the gameplay...  Will she start performing actions before they're fully typed out?

Dave lives in an apartment block with raining fire: Fire

Hate to burst your bubble, but it rains fire on ALL their locales.

Well, John's area got hit with a meteor. That's pretty close... right?

I personally interpreted all the fire-raining as meteor showers. Didn't one of the comics have a newspaper clipping to that effect?
