I like how that dancestor clown facepalms at Gamzee explaining how he fucked it up.

I wonder how will the DOUBLE BAIT plan go now. Will it succeed once again, or fail miserably against the overpowering amounts of luck?

Thinking harder on it, I'm not sure I like Rose not taking to drink?
I mean, there were all these parallels to Roxy and I wanted to see them talk about it, but I suppose that won't happen now.

Maybe we'll get some doomed-timeline ghost conversations, I dunno.

The art shifts weirded me out. It's like Vriska picked up ten kilos and lost them again in the course of three pictures.

Otherwise, I love this update. That has nothing to do with Dave and Vriska being pretty close to my favourite characters, at all.

I kinda like the simple fact that Vriska managed to fix a lot of problems just by finally being a good person and acting like the friend she always wanted. I suppose the "I was going to have to kill you, or you would have gotten all of us killed first" conversation was quite the eye-opener.

What worries me a little is that we're something like 400 and change panels away from the end of the comic, which feels a little claustrophobic if the group is going to take on the Condesce, English/Caliborn/find Calliope?, fix their session, explain the time shenanigans that led to Jane's stuff being in Spade's possession, deal with Bec Noir, get closure to character arcs... I gave up on an actual explanation of the horrorterrors long ago but seeing some of that stuff get short shrift would be a disservice to the story at this point.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

These panels are going to be filled with exposition text to the brim, though. So prepare for multiple pages worth of text in each panel.

In fact, Dave for example will likely die horribly if bladekindeyewear is right.

he has been right exactly 1 1/2 times (AR being part of Doc Scratch and Gamzee raising Calliope/Caliborn, which was part of a theory saying that their ectobiological components were Karkat and Jade).

Jane was always fat. Remember Caliborn's weird cherub flirting with her over it?

Suddenly? She was always called "fat" as far as I remember. By a lot of people, I think.

I guess it's just the cute, uniform sprites that throw me off. In the interest of artistic consistency, I offer Hussie a new and more realistic Jane Crocker, updated to reflect the latest measurements of her gravitational pull:

The news update. There was a news update with an updated update horse calendar. It's pretty amazing.

No, news from 4/10:

Quote
I have somehow drawn another 400 pages, which is possibly some sort of MSPA record. Be warned, due to that obscene page rate some of these panels are lookin pretty fast and loose! They nevertheless exist, which is usually what matters most for this website. There's still more to draw beyond that to finish off the rest of A6A6I5, which is the final "normal act". But really not too much. We're getting real close here. I will chip away at the remaining panels as I roll out this batch. Then, it's all animation work after that.

So A6A6I5 is at least 400 pages.
