That's the true reason for the gigapause. It's not to work on the game, its to wait for sufficient internet technology to become developed and available so that the grand finale won't cause cause half the net to crash simultaneously.

Damn. I was kind of hoping to catch up before the Gigapause ended. Not really any chance of that before updates begin in earnest, though; I'm on Act 6 Intermission 1 so far. And my god these flash games are looooong.
