Well, if they simply form a big pile next to Dirk, they'll eventually be incinerated by the lava, and there will be no problems. However, since these are ghost spider-husks, they might also fall into the afterlife.

I always liked how Hussie (and his artistic help under direction) drew the tumblr trolls without the dark bags under their eyes like the modern trolls have.  Subtle touch to illustrate the differences in their worlds.  Now Aranea has them too.

I'm sure it's meaningless, having your soul sucked out can't be good for your complexion.  But it's an interesting detail.
