I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess this is Her Imperious Condescension's doing. Chucklevoodoos and all that. I mean, we already know she has the other abilities of lower bloods, like Tav's Animal control, and Sollux's Telekinesis.

Her realself is dead though. We don't know how that works, since the only people who had that happen to them either ascended or did so shortly afterwards.
