Like pokemon, it is significantly better emulated than it was originally, thanks to the wonder of the turbo button.

Okay, this bubble is definitely Bec Noir's. There is no other character who has seen everything in this bubble, and it is all to do with him. Specifically the stuff he's destroyed. It has B1's (am I doin this rite? I'm not sure I understand these naming conventions.) Prospit, A2's Derse, the Battlefield, the genesis frog, and a stretch of the Red Miles.

And I've only played it on a real SNES :P

It's definitely one of the best games ever, just not for its battle system. Everything else about it is golden.

I could go on a very long diatribe about how the Dragon Warrior ripoff battle system is tedious, but that'd be rather offtopic. Suffice to say that the rolling HP meter just emphasizes the problem: Mash buttons to make the menus scroll faster.

EDIT: I know why that was my first impression, it sounds kind of like SSTV does if you leave the sound on for either stupidity or sound effect reasons (guess which was mine.).
