Just that when I used to play with my mom's cards many years ago, the guide was noticeably good at providing a good or neutral interpretation for every card.  Death, the Hanged Man, the Devil, even The Tower (which is generally depicted exploding) could be written off as a metaphor for positive change.  The ten of swords was different, it meant doom and failure.  Looking at guides now, the most positive thing I can find is that things won't be able to get any worse afterwards.

Even as a young kid I knew the cards were a just a focus to help you think through a situation, and that's why they were all so noncommittal.  This card was the exception, a straightforward warning.

Also, the interaction between Terezi and Karkat in the HTML5 was rather adorable. We may laugh at him, but Karkat really is rather savvy when it comes to emotional matters.

So, if Gamzee can use a dream-codpiece, what's stopping our heroes from remembering an armada of Prospitian Battleships and zerg-rushing the alpha-session? Probably the ships would disappear at the border of the bubble, but why the codpiece doesn't... there is going to be a reason for that, I am sure.
All the Beforians seem to have either brain damage or be severe assholes...just like Karkat(and Jim Groovester!) said. I guess that's what happens if you use parodies of characters in a story that has left the shallow waters of simple parody a long while ago.
And yes, Gamzee's ancestor is scary. Self-mutilation happens to have that effect. Even before we come to this whole brainwash thing. Gamzee is worse, of course.

It's just me being a huge nerd, but the occassional Hary Potter references started to irk me after Hussie stated that he never read the books. That's just... bad style, you know?

It's remarkable how much my opinion of Karkat has changed, since I first read CarcinoGeneticist's attempt to troll Jade. He's probably one of my favorite characters now.

Yeah, it came up, yes I was distracted by the overabundance of formidable ghostly phalli, but I thought the point of that scene was Karkat trying to make an indecent agreement with Dave before anything happened.
Then again I am a feelingless chunk of bone marrow, so I probably missed everything anyway.

In other news, I checked out the Tarot cards preview. The only stuff I know about Tarot is what I looked up because of this one chapter in Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, so I am woefully uninformed about the implications of which character is which card. Why is STRENGTH Kanaya/Gamzee? Why is Death LE, but the Devil is Noir?(why is Scratch neither?) What makes Hussie's Avatar the Nine o'Swords?
Oh, I guess I will have to inform myself about another obsolete topic that will never come up in my life again except as cheap conversation material.
