I've finished my archive binge, and I have to say think I see where people are coming from when they say that there are differences between reading it archivally, as opposed to serially.
I also think that I now love Homestuck slightly more than I did before, which is significant because I already love it more than the majority of my friends, family, and limbs.

Well, another years-worth of Homestuck is certainly enough for me. I'm hoping that the end is a flash equal/greater than [ S] Descend. Because that flash was awesome.

Homestuck's been going on for about 3 years now, and there are currently about 7000 pages, so we'll be getting about 2000 more pages until it ends if my calculations are correct. At 9000 some pages, Homestuck might just be the longest webcomic on the internet by the time it's over.

Another year or so of Homestuck.... I'm not sure how my level of disillusionment will be by the time it ends. I imagine, though, that it will all be wrapped up nicely. Problem Sleuth wrapped up nicely, and everything was explained. Of course, Homestuck contains many times more WPS and WTS that Problem Sleuth ever did....

Come to think of it, anybody know how to quickly and efficiently count the number of words spoken by, say, John during acts 1-5? I'd be interesting in knowing his WPM, if we assume he spent all 24 hours typing.

Go here, copy each pesterlog to notepad, then import as data into excel (use the import options to slice off all the pesterchum handles), then copy the clipped text to something like word that can count the number of words in a document.
