I wonder what the hell Hussie is going to do when Homestuck is over, I mean how can he do a follow up to it that is as good as it?

You have to wonder if he's just bluffing though...

Whether or not he's bluffing, the man is mortal.  What territory is there left to cover after this?  He promised the sky in Homestuck, and delivered it.  There's nowhere up left to go, and anything smaller would be just that.  A movie wouldn't top this property in its entirety.  A TV series maybe, but it'd have to run for a while.

Yeah. I can just imagine all the awesome if Homestuck had a tv adaptation... that is, if they follow the source material, closely...

Other than that, I don't know if he can actually make something that could top this.

Well, if he wanted to make a TV show, this is where he should start.

I'd really like to know who Hussie got to draw those portraits because...
She has been my favorite fanartist for a long time now.

Spoiler: Quote Pyramid (click to show/hide)

I predict two outcomes: One, Hussie astonishes all of us, and he makes something egregiously awesome that, eventually, brings the entire internet to its knees. Or two, Hussie hypes something up enormously, then reveals the Vast Troll: He was lying to us the entire time, and Homestuck is the last thing he does. The entire internet crashes to a halt as thousands of Homestuck fans seek to fill the void in their lives with something else.

Then two years or so down the line, Hussie reveals that he was, in fact, building something even more important, and he reveals that he has created an actual Sburb. The entire world grinds to a halt as millions of people disappear, and then the meteors start falling in earnest.

You can't bet against Hussie. The man has made puns that take two years to hit home, and did so with a casual ease. He has produced a quantity of artistic output that dwarfs that of comics twice MSPA's age. Any mind capable of that is beyond our mere understanding. You say he has given us the sky? Next, he will give us the cosmos.

Has anyone actually cut him to see if he bleeds? As it stands, there's just as much evidence that he is actually some sort of pure artistic force made solid :P

Also, I really don't want to consider the prospect that someday there will be no more HS or a suitable replacement

We have seen him get tired at cons, he is indeed a man. And he has a girlfriend apparently. Cool that this aspect of his life never really factors in. A guy like him should be able to pursue a relationship without it getting weird by us.
