Like Kanpirism?
Sort of, I guess. But my brain controls my emotions about events, and it's saying nope,
whether or not I actually believe it.
Consciously, I know I should be at least a little bit sad, or even angry, but emotionally, this update hasn't affected me in the slightest.
I do hate Noir more than before, though, so there's that I guess?

Well at least I'm not alone in caring more about music right now than a couple of tragically brutal deaths.

I don't care if there is every hint of a dramatic twist, plus plenty more stuff for these dead characters to do in the future.  That look on Terezi's face is all that matters.  That girl died, painfully.

Besides, even with all the plot-necessity of a resurrection in the cards, this one has a finality that none of the major deaths really grasped.  Maybe it's that KK was the only character to see his death coming and react to it like a normal person, and TZ didn't even see that much.  Maybe it's because it's Hussie hasn't really left a backdoor this time; death is a real place, and sure people linger on in weird dreamscapes, but any hint that people can escape from them alive was imposed without any hint on Hussie's part.

And these aren't moon-people or alternate realities, or the loads of characters that only certain slices of the audience give two shits about (nobody's even mentioned that Sollux finally died again).  It's the alphas, Karkat and Terezi prime.

The Karkat and Terezi.

Our Terezi.

My Terezi.

Great, now I feel like I watched a litter of newborn puppies and kittens die and am unsuccessfully forcing myself to feel sad, even though words cannot express my love for puppies and kittens even more than I already did.

I feel more guilt than sadness, and I feel guilty for feeling more guilt than sadness. THE CYCLE NEVER ENDS

I dunno, until I see the bodies I'm going to assume that Kanaya, Gamzee, and Sollux have a chance at being alive.
But they're probably dead, yeah.

I also wish to know if dead Gamzee is sobre Gamzee or sopor Gamzee.

Well, all my distress shock and sadness over this turn of events has died. Because these new albums are so awesome! I'm on Lifdoff right now. Spider8reath is the best so far.

This brings up a point and probably explains why I never believed that death not having an impact ever really mattered. We are emotional beings. It doesn't matter that we know that they talk to the kids later on, we can see that some characters we cared about just took some brutal violence. And they likely saw their loved one die before them.

Also I can hear Aqizzars Terezi bodypillow being squeezed apart from here.

Yeah I know, this album dropped at the most inopportune time, concurrency-to-story-wise.  Spider8reath still sounds like sex.  Actually, it sounds like Edgar Winter and Jethro Tull, but a lot less hairy men in jumpsuits and a lot more sex.  Can't stop listening.

Also I can hear Aqizzars Terezi bodypillow being squeezed apart from here.

I put a lot of work into that thing, I don't want it to go to waste.  I'll never be able to look at it the same way again.

Wow. That... wow. Honestly though, Sollux edged out Terezi in my favorite troll list towards the end there. And then they both died and... :c

I don't care about all the death gimmicks Hussie has pulled, that hit me hard.

Even so, I may try to transcribe some lyrics down tomorrow just 'cause.
There was a single word(s?) I couldn't understand at all. Other than that, I got everything else down no problem.

...and TZ didn't even see that much.

Pfffffahahahaha.

Oh, sorry.

Th-there's still hope guys. At the end this memo Karkat and Terezi reply at the end, and there replies must come after the Critical Event, since when Karkat first learned about the humans, there was only 5:12 left on the countdown to the Critical Event. Scratch said he was only covering up to right before the critical event, so the moment hasn't happened yet. So they have to come back somehow, right? ...right? Please don't let that turn out to be someone impersonating them, please.

I'll point out that Vriska's trek to the reward platform probably wasn't as instantaneous as Doc Scratch made it out to be, so it's perfectly feasible for Karkat and Terezi to post in that memo as Vriska's flying there.

So, while you all are freaking out over the death of Best Ship, note that Spades is now pouring....somthing (oil? gasoline? concentrated evil? horrorterror blood?) on Doc Scratch's floor.
