Oh gosh I love all this music so much.  The lyrics in Mobius trip are just breaking my mind or something.  I'm listening to Fly right now, and it's just delirious.

Meanwhile, here are some bits of song I noticed in the new ones when I first listened to them:

Of all the songs with words, my favorite was Fly, but I still like Beta Version better. I might like Fly better if it were wordless. Wait lemme see somethi-- aw snap they're the same thing. I was mentally comparing two of the same songs without even realizing it.

I'll need to find the lyrics for Dawn of Man, but I remember the verses by now.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

I swear I can juuuust barely hear the beginning of Descend (the music-boxy part) throughout The Deeper You Go, from the very beginning till the very end.

These albums are really new and I was unable to find lyrics to anything earlier, but I know better than to underestimate the fanbase.
Even so, I may try to transcribe some lyrics down tomorrow just 'cause.

Yo Toony, I think it's time to change the thread title.  Something like MSPA: Well, damn.  Or MSPA: Best Album

Because man, this album, almost every song is like "eh, I dunno, this is kinda whoOAASHIT SOLO".  Wicked cool that it's the same guy who made Suburban Jungle, which has been the Homestuck Themesong since it was made, as far as I'm concerned.  Surprised I don't hear it come up in more remixes and fusions.

Oh man, Lies With The Sea. Totally gives me flashbacks to when I was listening to the beatles almost exclusively.  I don't know if it's only Across the Universe, since it's been awhile since I was obsessed with them, but that's the most obvious one.  And I probably would have just been confused without the On and On line, so I'm grateful for that.  Sooo much better than "OH GOD WHAT BEATLES SONG"

Black Rose/Green Sun was a great introduction to these albums too.  And I think I love every song.

Edit:  I suppose I should point out that the submarine and octopi and the sun are probably vague references to the beatles too.

Well crab.

Are those Gamzee's shoes? They're not Sollux', and I think Kan's look different too.

Nope they're not.

God damn you Hussie. Not Karkat.

He was the only one I really wanted to survive this all.

Hopefully he's not gone for good.

What a horrible update.

I figured listing to Rumble at the Rink would be in bad taste, so I paused it.  Before I continue reading, let me just say that Spider8reath is like having sex with a guitar.  I need a cigarette.

Yeah, what I was saying before?  Thread title: MSPA: Well, damn.  Welp, Vriska's gonna die, unless all that "circumstantial simultaneity" nonsense actually counts for something, and these events are somehow interrupted by Alternian-Jack burning down Scratch's apartm...  Oh man, that would be so cool.

And on top of all that, how much do you want to bet that this is all just an elaborate way of letting Vriska die a properly heroic death, thus satisfying the requirements necessary to actually die for good as God-Tier. He's going to kill Vriska now, and leave Aradia and her time powers as the mechanic for the Earth Kids to navigate the Scratch.

I'd like to think the Scratch is somehow going to reset the state of affairs, but who knows. Maybe he's trying to build up for an epic confrontation between the Earth Kids and Lord English by killing everyone else just as they begin to show a glimmer of hope for character development.

Before I continue reading, let me just say that Spider8reath is like having sex with a guitar.  I need a cigarette.
Though I can't say I've tried that yet, I'm inclined to agree with you there. That song is simply the best there is.

I like how that container has the symbol of LOWAS on it.

Gods love the panning in that song.

And the titular song is even better when it doesn't get interrupted by jackhax.
