They seem even less odd when you remember that Rose and Dave are nearly genetic twins.  Given the borderline-incestuous nature of their creation, any unusual genes they'd share would likely be expressed.

That being said, Hussie did say in one of his Formspring not-exactly-answers that Dave isn't an albino (or ginger, for that matter), he just has red eyes.  "Low level" albinism does exist, it's just really rare.  And as for Rose's lavender eyes-

Maybe she has Alexandria's Genesis or something. Even if it's not real, you can always consider the fact that vampires aren't, either.

But in parallel dimensions, rainbow drinkers are.

It's not a parallel dimension, it's a different universe. There are no current parallel dimension concepts introduced.

 Alternate but not parallel timelines
 Timeless Afterlife
 Timless unspace
Instanced universe specific to a single universe

The timelines could be parallel universes depending on the time model, but they seem to be freely navigable enough to the hero of time to be considered part of a single universe.

The worst part was that this was posted on the MSPA forums and somebody said "I liked when it got weird."
I don't even what how in the what now.

I laughed so hard I started to cry from holding the sound in but it didn't work because I woke up like half my family.

And then I saw Dutton and my face imploded.

His nose... what is he, a baboon? Jesus.

I laughed so hard I started to cry from holding the sound in but it didn't work because I woke up like half my family.

And then I saw Dutton and my face imploded.
My reaction was just your ordinary, commonplace laughing-so-hard-that-I-began-coughing-before-anything-even-remotely-close-to-being-considered-laughter-could-come-out.

What is the point of viruses making people sick anyway? I mean, they're renting out a pair lungs for the week, they might as well show some courtesy like the lactobacilli do. Inconsiderate, detrimental freeloaders.

Not being able to take on the god-dog =/= dying to the God-dog.

Nah. Cause He still hasn't talked to Karkat in that first conversation yet. Mainly because he doesn't have the kickin computer he had then.

-god-dog snip-

I think the issue becomes trying to escape from the god-dog intact, rather than taking it on.
