EDIT: Open red curtains. Open red curtains. Open red curtains. Open red curtains. Open blue curtains. Open red curtains.

I liked that part. Hopefully it means AH's setting up the end of the act that never ends.

Also, the kids meet for the first time, and it didn't really occur to me until John mentioned it.

Heh, Dave's line from examining the banner.
Also, the start is really good. Love the style.

Scratch, green curtains, green curtains, green curtains, green curtains, green curtains, Skaia.

Nothing like a little bit of symbolism.

Now that I think about it, having had the ambiguous pleasure of getting to go through the reunion dialogue twice due to aforementioned shenanigans, it occurs to me that it might not be Rose expressing frustration at all. It's not out of the question that, rather than Rose, it is in fact a (or many) Horrorterror(s) being frustrated by the inevitable communication difficulties when they borrow a vessel without bothering to really grasp the language used.

On the other hand we had TanglebuddyTerror at the end of Jade: Wake Up, so that probably means it really is just Grimdark!Rose rather than HorrorterrorPuppet!Rose. On the other hand... we have an endless string of other hands!

Also, total of 12 curtains. Why do you even need that many curtains I mean really.

It's interesting how Rose isn't totally taken up by the throes. She still interacts with John being goofy in much the same way as usual, and I just know people are gonna ship that scene where he brings up Karkat.

Interesting tidbits of story in the books though. And insights into Roses true purpose on her planet.

Lilacs will have to be researched.
