 The kids are the guardians of the post-scratch session, and her grandson is one of the kids. Possibly a reverse gender version of herself.

I'm honestly wondering what exactly could happen "post game".  I figured the Humans would reach the "end" of their game, and would wind up creating the Troll universe, but that makes even less sense than it did the first way around.

The trouble is that there's only four kids and ten others (six of which are guardians). Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Nanna, Colonel Sassacre, Betty Crocker, Dad's dad, Bro, and even Halley and Bec have to come from somewhere. Oh, and Cal too, I guess.

So I guess the real question is where the four "original" kids fit in and who they "replace". Because I suppose that the "missing" guardians can be filled in by others. And a first guardian isn't hard to come by, if every planet has one or something.

It could be an actual loop, with no beginning. John passes the hammer to Jade's grandson, who sends it to John. Gamzee had one too, though, and there is basically no way that it isn't going to get wrapped up in some time shit sooner or later.

Bigger things cost more grist and smaller things cost less grist, but since he was able to hugen it with the bunny, it's like he "bought" a bigger hammer for the price of a smaller.
