Well, that's enlightening.

I'm guessing that this sequence is how the magic cue ball is supposed to work. It's not so simple as Rose asking it a question, shaking it up, and then it magically turns it to the right answer. Probably has something to do with the horrorterrors since this looked like the same tube Jade went down in that one flash.

IDE/Theory: The horrorterrors make Pesterchum/Trollian possible calling it now. Rose being defiant means they don't want to help her out so they cut her off.

Does this mean the Horrorterrors are so unfathomable to mortals that even asking a fucking YES OR NO QUESTION leads to an answer of mind-bending,SAN-draining magnitude? Did she just black out?

I mean, while it seems unlikely to me that Rose will actually be blind now, she IS a seer, so you never know. Even if she's not blind, this might be some form of "awakening" for her. Perhaps now when she looks at a picture of squiddles, all she can see is a picture of the actual Horrorterrors.

That transition was also used in John: Arise, so it doesn't seem like a blinding thing so much as showing a transition from an old way of life to a new way of life. At least we have an idea why she blacked out to Kanayas monitor.

 Future Daves comments still bug me though. He says Rose is still crazy and Jade is even crazier, so while we have seen instances of 'crazy' Jade talking to Karkat and God Aradia her state of mind is somehow worse than Roses, even taking into account Daves opinion on it all.
