That's what I thought too. When he took off his shirt I thought it was because he was going to beat Slick until he agrees to do what he wants. Probably because I don't want to think about Scratch molesting Rose.

I just realized that the all-knowing ball thingy is technically Doc Scratches father.
Which means that he murdered his own father in a bout of anger.

Also, since Doc Scratch is half puppet, would someone with puppetkind(or whatever) be able to wield him?

Presumably you would also need the 1/2 cueballkind to wield him in an effective manner.
