When already beaten to a bloody pulp, she can manipula8 Tavros into choking himself and writing notes.  If you snuck up in her sleep, she could probably manipula8 you into shooting yourself.

The key factor being, nobody knew anything about "Quest Beds" and "God Tiers" when Vriska presumably died.  It seems weird looking at it from the moment, but it makes sense now.

There were some... unforeseen interferences. I acted upon all the knowledge I had and built safeguards on the pillars of ignorance that hold the known up, but there was nothing I could have done to successfully fulfill your plans at that date. Second of January 2000 perhaps, but you did insist on the first so I just scrapped it.
