Oh, I do that too.

And douchebag has an s sound...ch sounds like s: dooshbag.

That's a sh sound. Not an s sound. They're made differently.

Try putting a th in a sh. It's not easy.

I have a habit of ascribing subvocalized voices to characters when I'm reading something.  Sollux's is hard to do.  Try to read something aloud with every conceivable 's' sound replaced by a heavy 'th'.

Terezi sounds like the Orz to me, I don't know why.

I do this as well. Kanaya sounds very flat and even, no matter the content of what she's saying. Karkat is in various levels of shouting. Aradia sounds emotionless.

But Sollux's lisp is nowhere near as pronounced as everyone seems to want it to be. He has a bit of a lisp; his tongue isn't permanently glued to his front teeth whenever he tries to make an s sound.

I read Sollux this way even dethpite the latest panel.

What a fascinating culture.

I still read the '2's as a hissing sound. Goes with the long 'i's. My personal Sollux voice puts me to mind of some kind of frog wizard or something. And with his weird mutations and mad computer skills, I'd say that a frog wizard is pretty appropriate.

So, uh. Toby "Radiation" Fox made a new album. He announced it on the MSPA forums, but the thread was kind of locked for apparently kind of violating some rules on pregnant children or something? I'm downloading it now.

I'm just going to drop this link here. I haven't listened to the music, but I feel like I should give some kind of content warning for "Possibly really messed up".

Okay I did listen to it. Just how high do you have to be to do something like this? ._.

I just noticed that Homestuck Album 4 costs $4.13 and the Alternia album costs $6.12. Also that Album 4 was released on 4/13/2010.

I can't believe nobody else has quoted this truly awesome pun.  I was curious about what significance Maplehoof would have on Baby Dave, like all the other meteor-riders.  Turns out, none at all.  Fare thee well Maplehoof, it was an exciting five hours that you were alive.

"Perhaps it is customary for this species after emerging from the trials in the brooding caverns?"

Simon escaping the cave village in Gurren Lagann.  Hell yeah Andrew, I loved this little two update.

I really doubt that was a GL reference, as much as I'd like to believe..
