But an understanding of darkness can blind you to the light.

Or maybe it's just an arbitrary title.

I don't think the titles are arbitrary.

At least with Dave and Aradia, they were both the ____ of Time, and both manipulate time. Also, Karkat was the Something of Blood, I think Knight. John is the Heir of Breath, and his planet has The Breeze on it, which is a major plot point. There are many signs that the titles refer to what the player is going to do in the session.

Yep, the shirt too. There's plenty of evidence that it's more than just arbitrary. Plus, the players are supposed to become gods. I dunno about you, but those titles definitely seem a little Godly to me.

I like how Rose's use of magic makes her significantly stronger than how much merely levelling up would increase her skills. Hopefully we still get to see a denizen boss fight, though; I like the whole "wooooo going off the rails breaking dat game" thing but I still wants me some boss battles.

Uh.

Okay.

Well, I'm still not quite sure that she's actually going insane, but "insanely powerful" would certainly be an adequate description.

Did she just blow up an entire city of turtles?

Probably her denizen's castle, seeing as it's similar to the LOWAS denizen's.

It could just be random ruins around her land, sort of like the ones Tavros was exploring on LOSAZ.
