It's hard to imagine Christopher Walken being a seriously cold-blooded dude without it being unintentionally hilarious.

Atta girl. You've done good work. Now skip to the end would ya?

You cannot help but imagine that in his voice.

Yep, it's a done deal now. I'll never read Diamonds Droog in any other voice again.

You don't have a BACKUP HAT all you got is this DECK OF CARDS oh wait yes you do.

It's stashed away in your BRAWLSOLEUM.

Imagine Christopher Walken saying brawlsoleum and then get back to me on whether you can still imagine him being a cold-blooded dude.

Yes, yes I can. And you know what the best part is? Christopher Walken apparently doesn't ever turn down parts offered to him, so if Andrew Hussie made a live-action Midnight Crew and asked him to play Diamonds Droog, he'd most likely accept the part.

This is assuming he lives long enough to wait for Hussie to make it.

The Walken voice isn't sticking with me, though. I've had Droogs stuck on a very manly confident pseudo-whisper for a while now. It is fun to imagine his lines as Walkenese though.

Bob Peck would be perfect as Droog then.

I agree with all of those casting choices, and Christopher Walken is easy to see.  That said, I watched Clockwork Orange like a dozen times because I had to write a paper about it, so I've got that asswipe kid's Nadsat in my head with Droog.

I just realized that poster features Al Pacino from about twenty years ago.  That's some movie magic.

I also realized that it doesn't actually specify who's playing who.  Christopher Walken as... Spades Slick?

It's the kind of movie John would watch and unironically love.

Well, it is funny that Nick Cage is in one of the roles, especially since he'll be in all the Con Air flashbacks anyway, and the How Would I Live Without You song portion would be especially epic. Even more so since the in the original animation had Jack holding the bunny at gunpoint, so it'd be Nick Cage in the background from the movie, and then Nick Cage holding the bunny at gunpoint.
