I just re-watched the end of Act 4 for the epic contained there-in, and reread our discussion of it. We didn't pick up on the fact that Jade probably won't make it to the Medium given her meteor is right fucking there while she falls from her tower at the end.

Ah, but there is one thing that gives me hope- the White Queen's Ring, as recently revealed by the Wayward Vagabond, has four active prototypings. 

How this is to be accomplished I have absolutely no idea.

Isn't it because Rose did both her prototypings before entering the medium, and all the ones done before the Kernelsprite hatching count? I assumed the 4 currently on the ring were Harlequin / Jaspers / Princess-Cthulhu / Sword-Crow. Or maybe I'm completely wrong again. This shit is complicated.

Why is it that when the subject of game mechanics is broached your sparring human intellects instantly assume the most ingratiating posture of surrender imaginable? Each glowing orb on the ring represents each kids prototype information. Since Rose prototyped her kernel twice before entering the medium, one orb counts as both cthulhu princess and Jaspers.
