How about this for a house rule - spoiler all meaningful discussion of the flash's plot until tomorrow. That'll give everyone time to see it and catch up. After that, anyone who hasn't seen it yet is left responsible for themselves. Talking about non-plot stuff unspoilered is fine. EDIT: Goddammit Max.
I think this was actually one of the reasons people complained about Jade's design. The characters, especially the kids, are almost never drawn with noses in-comic. And that one was big and nostrily enough that I was afraid she was going to have a giant dog schnoz. It's just a weird effect of that otherwise fantastic picture, and while the shapes of her face (and nose) are human proportion in every shot, they're inconsistently drawn.
John and Jade plus Denizens and the other three sprites and consorts and probably a few more pawns - On a battleship, that crashed through the window leading into Hussie's office.
Hussie and Ms. Paint - Probably in that office, with Karkat's alternate-timeline bloody ~ATH book.
Dave and Rose and Aradia and Half-Dead-Dream Sollux - At the newly created Green Sun.
Liv Tyler the Bionic Bunny - Maybe destroyed by the sun's creation? Not really clear. God-Tier players can apparently survive swimming in the Green Sun, but who knows about the bunny. Maybe Dave inventoried it.
Karkat, Terezi, Kanaya, Gamzee, and Living-Blind Sollux - Rocketing through the Outer Ring Space Whatever on a meteor.
Lil' Cal - Still in one piece, in Gamzee's lap. Is the most important character after all. I hate that puppet.
Jack Noir and PM plus Serenity on PM's ear - At the wasted empty core of the Troll's Incipisphere where Jack just killed the Earth-Universe Frog.
The Alternia-Universe Frog that Jade made (presumably, that's what universe was in there) fell into her volcano. Also, Slick shot Snowman. I'm assuming, based on the whole idea of "when viewed externally all elements of a universe are occurring at the same time" to explain that the Alternia-Universe was basically ended concurrently. If not, that frog floating in an 8-ball in a volcano on one of Jade's micro-planets could be a serious thing.
What's going to happen to the kids' Scratched session? All that's left is the Skaia-sphere sans Battlefield, and the core planets of Prospit and Derse. There's also no players in it, and presumably all trace of the kids' Guardians is also outside of the session, since Mom's and Bro's (and Dad's) corpses are on the micro-planets along with Nannasprite and Grandpa was obliterated in Earth's orbit. Will any of that have any effect on its revamp after the scratching? What about that giant broken window?
Is anything going to happen to the Troll's session now? Jack destroyed basically everything, including Aradia's planet so there will be no scratching. I remember something about putting a frog in a pond being mentioned, and there is still a frog theoretically in existence in Jade's Volcano, and a pond-looking thing in the remnants of the Troll's Incipisphere.
Is Sollux going to kill himself moving that meteor? If he does, what happens to his Half-Dead-Dreaming self already at the Green Sun?
Where the fuck are Jade and John about to wind up? If Hussie is actually a big enough douchebag to meet his own characters (not including Scratch and Aradia's ancestor...) I will quit the Internet.
Does the bunny till exist? What about Rose's Complacency of the Learned, did Jack keep it as a trophy like he did everything else?
What significance will Serenity have in the possible fight between Jack and PM?
What and who is Lord English? here is there left for him to come from? What is there left for him to do?
So it did open a few new questions of course, but it pretty well compacted everything else, along with the total character roster. You have a respect a story where you can give a finite count of how many people exist in the entire... existence. Universe doesn't really cut it at this point.
