She reached Guardian Tiers, and that's the final term for it, because nothing else gives the gravity of it.
God Dog, Best Diety.
Good Gog, Best Mary Sue.

Someone had to say it.

I can't lie. I think it's funny how she went from having Mary Sue powers to having her Mary Sue rug ripped out from under her to being an omnipotently-powered Mary Sue again.

As her ebony black locust hair waved in the wind, her thin, scrumptious lips were revealed to Dave Stride.

Then they kissed.

...nah, I'm not writing another MSPAfic after that last one.

Honestly, most Homestuck characters are pretty much Mary Sues - see Aradia and Vriska.

EDIT: And John.

Also, this will probably be ignored from the flood of images but today in Chemistry I found out somebody else knows about Homestuck.  This is getting weird.  Of course they're the loudest and most eccentric person in the class and they go completely against my own character but I mean, another HS fan!

I should also mention that she showed me cosplay pictures of herself, wow.

Wait wait, how is Jade an author's avatar? I was under the impression that Hussie was the author's avatar of Hussie.

They are similar but distinct.

What is with all these people getting creeped out by Dog Tier Jade? I think the design is awesome.

It's also the way she's animated, or at least that's what bothers me about her. It just looks kinda low quality.

And when she's doing that thing just before the Tumor does its thing, it looks weird cuz she's not moving anything but her arms and her eyes. When she does the thing with the fenestration, that looks good, but before that... no.

Yeah... I was in the Livestream when the artists were chatting about their contributions and such. There were a lot of Non-Hussie art assets in that, and some of the flash animation was a bit wooden... the straight-on or straight profile perspective wasn't doing the animation any favors either.

Still, I liked it.

Flare and Scourge Sisters are best tracks, the best.

Right after Cascade itself.

Yeah, same for me.  Like I said a couple pages back, it's all the animation quality and facial expression of Metalocalypse with none of the detail, Lexxy-ness notwithstanding.  Jade doing-the-god-thing is kinda the climax of the whole flash (it's certainly the least expected visual), so it dominates your attention, and it's a sequence that just demanded more thorough animation.

The design I personally have no complaints about.  Didn't see it coming in a million years, but there it is, and it's... Strikingly Jade, really.  I am curious about the whole dog-ears thing, but if Jadesprite was any indication, those will be her only set of ears.  I'm more wondering if Jade acquired any other extraneous features; with her hair hanging over her face, you can't tell if she has those fur-tuffs, etc.

I bet Future/Bird!Dave is freaked the Hell out right now.  And Dave!Dave and Karkat are going to be like /8O when they see her again.
