Darwin's wife had a lesser known theory that wasn't about the fittest.

We need designer babies or we need free healthcare that guarantee's everyone some glasses, diabetic medication and acne medication.

How is it "artificial"?

The boundaries between guys living on completely different continents is completely natural. You could call the COLLAPSE of those boundaries "artificial" since they rely on human ingenuity and technology, but I'm not sure there's even a meaningful distinction to be made there.

What I meant by artificial boundaries equates to the the apparent preference humans have to breed within their own ethnic group, and other things like that. It is a boundary that exists within the human mind, rather than something that exists outside of us, like an ocean.

Well, beauty is, of course, a subjective term, and one that is tied to an average.

Plus, there's sexual selection, but 95% of people get married and have kids, so it's not really driving things in any particular direction very fast. I'd say we're in the "eq" part of punc eq.

The problem is, great intelligence is rarely linked to genetic lineage. It's not like Einstien's kids continued his work.
