Ender Goblins?

Well, I've heard tell about these goblins, and that they are obscenely hard, but I've never actually seen them per say. I'm just wondering where they came from/what mod introduced them, and how I could get them.

Isn’t dig deeper made to be play able? Because ender goblins are most certainly not.

Alright, I looked through the dig deeper mod and didn't see any reference to THE HORDE. As I don't feel like installing it, what is THE HORDE?
