Uranium or explosions mod?

Is there a mod that lets you make bombs or things like that? Possibly usable like traps?

not possible, although you can make a material that boils at 0 degrees, then it gets a steam effect, may or may not be lethal.

I think you can make things explode by having them boil, but it doesn't make them any hotter, and they don't deal damage unless they're hot (or cold). You could make something explode when you drop it in magma, but I think that's about it.

There is this:
It seems I figured out how to make a fireball.  Very high FIXED_TEMP ammo + a room temperature fixed temp quiver.  If the dwarf can pick up the ammo and stuff it into a quiver before burning its hands off, it can safely use them in the quiver to shoot at things.  I saw a groundhog get a bolt stuck in it and catch on fire.  Unfortunately, when the hunter brought the corpse back, so did the wagon and all the dwarves/animals standing by it.  ;D  I'll figure out some way to work that into the mod.
but I don't think you could load a trap with them without burning your hands off. If you manage that, you might be able to set it so it catches on fire at its normal temperature, and explodes shortly after. If that doesn't work, you could just make something that does do that and has a very low SPEC_HEAT so it will explode quickly.

how about this?

An nearly endless corridor of 3 tiles wide with a row of booze stockpile on either side, leaving one tile untouched. near the end of this row a stepping plate is placed, lowering magma over the booze stockpile.

Invaders burn, and the trap is restockable :D

Very lethal, I've tried it myself and any dwarf stupid enough to be within a couple tiles of ground zero freezes to death. Some people like to make creature that explode on death with this method.

Aside from that, you couldn't really use it as a trap, though.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Chained dogs exploding on death? I see trap possibilities...  ;D

Maybe creating a booze, that ignites on creature body-temperature? This might work like a mine, but there would be no way of placing it somewhere - it would explode instantly and could be only made by a race, that had a lower body temperature.

Don't actually have any experience with the raws, just an idea.
