Goblin gas chambers anybody? Although that might be seen as more evil, considering the history of gas chambers (WWII). That could work for creating stuff like toxic fumes though.

I don't mind migrants. More dwarves = more masons = I can build my tower faster.

As for new methods of killing shit, I'm going to enjoy screwing around with the venom raws.

I concur, More migrants = faster building... still they do nom on a shitload of my food.... i guess ill commission my tower with the blood of 30 dwarfs

Since steam doesn't do damage anymore, you could use gas instead for the old steam-bridge design that thwarted so many 2D goblin sieges.

I can just imagine that, if they had cartoons in DF, there would be Urist McFudd on there all day. Guess what he says? "Shh... be vewy vewy quiet. I'm hunting elfsies." ;D

TREANTS WOOT, Make them hostile to everyone so those elves will be like

"Oh no, my weak bone structure is destroyed by the trees i love"

and the dwarf controlling them will be like

"LOL"

Poison gas?  I love how the first thing we're thinking of is war crimes.  XD

Someone early said "Mani"? for some reason, which makes me think of Grim Fandango (gotta finish that someday).  Does this mean that the elves are going to get sprouter arrows?

The dwarven economy is just a stand-in, from what I understand. As it is, it represents an actual economic system about as well as poison ivy represents a salad.
